This week in entertainment
-The British group Doves will perform at the Wonder Ballroom May 22 at 9 p.m. The show is all ages with tickets costing $18 in advance and $20 the day of the show.
- Comedian Jerry Seinfeld will perform at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland May 22 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster, ranging from $48 to $79.50.
- Indie artist St. Vincent is coming to the Aladdin Theater May 25 at 8 p.m. The tickets are general admission for $15 and are available through Ticketmaster.
- Lady Sovereign will play at the Doug Fir Lounge in Portland May 23 with Chester French, as well as Hollywood Holt. The show is 21 and over. Tickets cost $15 and doors open at 8 p.m.
- The Melvins perform at to Portland’s Roseland Theater May 24 at 9 p.m. The show is presented by the radio station KUFO and is all ages. Tickets are general admission and cost $20.
- There will be a chance to see ’80s music videos at the Crystal Ballroom May 22 at 9 p.m. The presentation, called “’80s Video Dance Attack!” will have videos shown on a large projection screen. Tickets are $5 at the door and is 21 and over. There will be another showing on May 29.
