Fall registration to begin

Online registration for fall classes will start May 21 at 12:01 a.m. for returning students who have earned 46 credit hours and on May 22 at 12:01 a.m. for returning student with less than 46 credit hours.
Registration for fall classes for new students will begin May 26 online and at the registration office. Classes will begin Sept. 21.

Town hall meetings continue

MHCC President John Sygielski will continue to hold town hall meetings to gather ideas on how to reduce the college budget. The Rockwood Library will host a meeting on May 26 from 1 to 2 p.m. at 17917 SE Stark St. in Portland.
The meetings will return to the main campus on May 27 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Town and Gown Room. For more information, contact ourmhcc@mhcc.edu.

 

Frisbee tournament May 28-29

An Ultimate Frisbee tournament will take place at the upper soccer field May 28 and 29. The tournament will start at noon and each team will be composed of seven players and will play up to seven points in single elimination games. Graduation dates set

The Mt. Hood Community College 2009 General Educational Development and Adult High School Diploma Graduation ceremonies will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009. Mt. Hood Community College/Eastern Oregon University Commencement ceremonies will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009.

 

Pride Days begin Tuesday

QSA, Queer Straight Alliance, is holding Pride Days May 26 and 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Main Mall.

 

Sports banquet to honor MHCC student-athletes

The All-Sports Athletic Banquet will be in the Visual Arts Theatre at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, to honor the student-athletes of Mt. Hood Community College.
The first 25 attending will receive free admission to the event. After the first 25, the event costs $5.
