Letter to the Editor:
Advocate editorial not based on interviews
MHCC Student
Dear Editor,
It seems that (when) not being able to interview any of the 570 students who voted in the past election, the author of last issue’s editorial was unable to leave their basement and resorted to the next best thing — truncated quotes and gossip from Facebook.
Also, it seems that the author, who so adamantly refuses to actually talk to people about things they see and “dislike” on an Internet medium, finds it acceptable to just guess about the true content and meaning in said medium.
To the best of my knowledge, the Facebook group previously titled “Let’s-all-watch-Bradley-Best-ruin ASG” and now titled “The Bradley-Best-has-somehow-affected-me support group” and in its very concept, the “I-Got-Deleted-By-Bradley-Best-From-His-Facebook-Friends-List Support Group,” has been, is, and will always be a page of satire and fictional lamentation at the petty schoolhouse politics that will always plague elections as long as the Internet exists. Also, it will always pale in comparison to the petty rumor-mongering that is continuing because of the actions of The Advocate.
