Students to display artwork
The Advocate
MHCC student artwork will be exhibited from May 27 to June 10 in the Visual Arts Gallery, and opens with a reception Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Administrative Assistant Lynn Horn said, “It is an annual exhibit and the number of pieces vary from year to year. Last year there were 150 pieces on exhibit.”
The exhibit will include the best student accomplishments in ceramics, drawing, life drawing, printmaking, painting, jewelry and metals, sculpture, 2-D and 3-D design, digital art, watercolor and calligraphy.
The artwork featured in the exhibit was created during the 2008-2009 school year.
