The Mt. Hood Community College Business and Industry Workforce Training Department is offering a new Leadership Institute for supervisors and managers from local businesses and organizations from Sept. 22 to Dec. 15.

The classes will be held every other Tuesday morning, from 8 a.m. to noon at MHCC Gresham campus.

The topics include conflict management, effective communications, intercultural communication, leadership styles, performance management, supervisory skills 101 and team building.

Employees of Mt. Hood Community College may qualify for the tuition waiver similar to the summer leadership courses.

According to Antonio Paez of MHCC, this workshop training is already full.

For more information about future trainings, contact Paez at (503) 491-6913 or antonio.paez@mhcc.edu.
