‘Rent’ auditions open to community at MHCC

Mt. Hood Community College Theatre will be producing the Broadway musical RENT. Auditions are Nov. 27 and Nov. 28 at 6 pm at the MHCC College Theater and are open to the community. Callbacks are Nov. 29th at 6 pm. Those auditioning should prepare a one minute rock, pop, R&B, or musical theatre song and bring sheet music, and be ready to move and read from the script.

Rehearsals start Jan. 7 on evenings and weekends. Performances are Feb. 22 – March 3. If cast, members must register for the associated class. For more information or questions, contact MHCC theater director Jesse Merz at [email protected] or 503-491-6970.
