Board to ratify faculty contract at retreat

The MHCC District board will hold a planning retreat when it meets in the Diversity Resource Center starting at 8:30 a.m. on Monday.

The board will begin the open session by voting on approval of a full-time faculty work contract that was ratified by faculty members this week.

It will then receive a report on “Access, Success and Completion: A Primer for Community College Faculty, Administrators Staff and Trustees,” presented by MHCC President Debbie Derr.

Board members also will discuss the school’s budget and a potential bond measure process.

The next regular board meeting is on March 12.
