Financial Aid Day

Mt. Hood will again host Financial Aid Day, on Saturday, Jan. 25.

The event is staged by the Oregon Student Access Commission to provide free help with filling out FAFSA forms and offers experts’ answers to questions about financial aid.

It runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Room AC3333, upstairs from the MHCC Library.

Besides the free FAFSA assistance, there also will be seminars on applying for scholarships, starting at 9:30 and 11 a.m. and at 1 p.m.

To participate and get all the help possible, be sure to bring asocial security number, a driver’s license or other state-issued ID, a current value of assets and 2012-2013 tax returns.
