Spectators at all remaining men’s and women’s basketball games can earn a Hawaii getaway, by luck of a raffle and some shooting skill.

During all home games, raffle tickets can be purchased for $2 each. Contestants must be 18 years old to enter the drawing. One ticket will be called during the home games and that person will have one chance to shoot a free throw.

If the contestant makes the shot, they become eligible to compete in the next round at the final home game, Feb. 23. Those who miss receive a $15 gift certificate to Flying Pie Pizzeria, at 1600 N.W. Fairview Drive in Gresham.

At the Feb. 23 men’s game, finalists will attempt a half-court shot, in an order determined at random. The first person to drain a half-court shot wins a voucher for round-trip airfare to Hawaii, donated by Walker Travel & Cruises of Gresham.

If no one sinks the shot, the prize will roll over to next year’s basketball season.
