GALLERIES ON CAMPUS

An MHCC student exhibit is being held in the Visual Arts Gallery currently, through Thursday, June 6. An artists’ reception was held on Thursday. In the showcase, students taking painting, sculpture, metalsmithing, drawing, ceramics, printmaking and photoshop-digital art courses at Mt. Hood have contributed to bring this exhibit to life.

In the Fireplace Gallery, there is currently a showcase of work by Miya Sukune titled “Get Together,” an exploration of oil paint, mainly on wood panels. Fireplace Gallery hours in the Student Union are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.,  Monday through Thursday (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays).
