BSU Needs Members

Are you interested in strengthening our Black community at MHCC? The Black Student Union is a student group committed to helping members build team and leadership skills, plus more. Meetings are held weekly in the Diversity Resource Center, from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. on Wednesdays and from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursdays. If you are looking for a role, available positions are: president, vice president, president-elect, secretary,  treasurer, social media coordinator, photographers, and Student Organizational Council representative.

Save Energy at MHCC

All MHCC staff, faculty and students are welcome to attend an “Employee Engagement in Energy Efficiency Workshop,” from 7:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday in the Town and Gown Room. Organized by Mt. Hood’s Sustainability Council, workshop sessions will encourage dialogue and learning to promote energy sustainability and to help MHCC’s “Save Energy for Scholarships” campaign. The Sustainability Council also encourages everyone interested to complete an important survey, to be distributed soon.
