Human trafficking forum comes to MHCC

Multnomah County Commissioner Diane McKeel and representatives from Big Brothers Big Sisters will host a human trafficking forum in the College Center Nov. 9 from noon to 2 p.m.

The forum will discuss issues a variety of concerns involving human trafficking and prevention through the use of mentors from Big Brothers Big Sisters.

ASG President Jackie Altamirano urges students to attend the forum. “We really want to get the community involved,” she added.

Sandwiches, cookies, and refreshments will be available for students who attend. Each student who attends will also be given a raffle ticket for an opportunity to win a prize.
