Salmon festival will feature Native American storyteller

The swimming symbol of the Pacific Northwest, the salmon, will receive its due at the third annual Salmon Festival at Multnomah Falls Sunday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This free festival is hosted by MHCC and the U.S. Forest Service, and involves students and staff from the biology, geography and fishery departments.
The attractions for this year will include displays for both adults and children. One of the draws for this year will be the opportunity to see the salmon in action.
Another sponsored event will be Ed Edmo, a Native American storyteller, with fish-related stories.
At the site, there will be transportation connections and tourist services.
