Six staff members will be retiring as of June

Six members of the faculty and administration, along with MHCC President Michael Hay, will be retiring as of June 30.

According to an email sent by Director of Communications Maggie Huffman, the six are: Dennis Mattoon, dean of industrial technology and apprenticeship; accounting manager Delpha Mahar; chemistry instructor Richard Bolesta; photography instructor Dana Spielmann, Linda Neumann, library and information resources supervisor; and industrial technology instructor Timothy Polly.

According to MHCC’s Human Resources job postings, there are openings for part-time instructors for chemistry and industrial technology, with only one chemistry position and three positions for industrial technology. There is also a one-year temporary full-time photography instructor position.

There were no postings in the business administration, business technology or the business office. There were also no postings in information technology or information resources.
